CORNFLOWER- TALL PINK
Cornflower is also known as bachelor
button, Flowers are medium pink, and
plants grown to 36 inches tall. Suitable
for cutting, beds & borders, flower
mixtures, and the pollinator garden.
Flower petals are edible.
Plant: Full sun to part shade. Direct
son in late fall or early spring, planting
the seeds thinly and 1/4” deep. In the
spring keep the soil moist after sowing.
To start indoors, plant 3-4 seeds 1/4”
below the surface in individual peat
pots. Transplant the seedings before
they reach a height of 5”.
Care: Prune of developing tips to force
the plant to produce more branches
and fuller growth. Keep soil moist.
